The Moon Suite
 

Inspired by Luke Jerram's extraordinary art installation Museum of the Moon, The Moon Suite was commissioned by Wells Cathedral to celebrate the installation of the enormous illuminated moon in the nave of the cathedral during October 2021. Composed by Dominic Beeton who plays keyboards, bell tree, steel tongue drum, Shruti Box, Harmonium, Tingcha Bells, Ian Close on soprano, tenor and alto sax and with Sarah Palmer on flute, bass recorder, bansuri flute, the Moon Suite highlights the seas, mountains and bays on the moon.
